Drug and alcohol treatment programs can vary widely in length depending on the type of treatment and severity of the addiction. Typically, treatment at AMAR Home takes 90 to 120 days. However, clients in outpatient treatment can continue to work as they are not staying onsite at the facility.
It depends on the type of treatment you are receiving, but you always have around-the-clock access to support staff, and counselors outside of clinical visits. Your interactions with doctors will typically be to monitor progress, adjust treatment and address issues.

To help promote healing and remove outside stressors, we do not allow electronics with cameras or internet access, such as tablets or laptops. During aftercare period, cell phone use is allowed for 30-minute intervals three times per week.

Patients can take cigarette breaks during designated periods determined by your treatment team. You must bring cigarettes in their original, unopened packaging — make sure that you have enough to last your entire stay. E-cigarettes and vape products are not allowed.

As part of helping clients improves their chances of long-term recovery, we provide aftercare services that continue support long after treatment ends. Transitioning back to daily life without substances can be challenging, so we help clients create relapse prevention plans and follow individualized strategies that help them continue recovery independently.
